Job summary

Hudsonville Public Schools seeks a Special Education EI Paraprofessional to support students with special needs and work alongside Special Education Teachers. This full-time role is 35 hours per week, reporting to the Building Principal.

The paraprofessional will assist in daily classroom activities, support students’ health and behavior, and provide tutoring as requested. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred candidates holding an Associate’s degree or teaching

• Additional training/education considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in daily classroom activities.
• Assist students with special needs.
• Care for students' physical and emotional health.

• Tutor students when requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
