Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Paraprofessional Certificate is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for working with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision of students at all times.
• Assists with instruction under supervising teacher’s plans.
• Supports students with disabilities in toileting needs if needed.
• Maintains professional conduct and adheres to policies.
• Assists in small group or individual instruction and data collection.
• Helps with routine record keeping and materials preparation.
• Locates, procures and returns equipment and supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
