Job summary

Claremore Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to support certified staff in classrooms and help meet instructional goals. You will assist students with reading, math, and language arts, supervise study areas, and aid in preparing instructional materials.

Under supervision, you will help with IEP processes, reinforce behavior management strategies, and document student progress while ensuring a safe, inclusive learning environment across assigned schools.

Qualifications

• Assisting students with reading, language arts, mathematics and computer instruction.
• Working with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assisting with administration and correction of exercises, tests and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom preparations and instructional materials to meet student needs.
• Document student learning and performance through records.
