Claremore Public Schools seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional at Claremont Elementary to assist certified staff and support students with disabilities.

Under supervision, you will reinforce learning, supervise lunch, field trips, and help with IEP objectives, while maintaining records and contributing to a safe, inclusive classroom.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or ParaPro test is desirable; prior experience with special needs is a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with special needs is desirable.
• Ability to pass ParaPro test.

Responsabilidades

• Assist students with reading, language arts, mathematics, computer instruction.
• Work with students individually and in small groups.
• Assist in administration and correction of classroom exercises, tests and assessments.
• Assist in classroom preparations and strategies for reinforcing instructional materials.
• Assist with record-keeping to document student learning and performance.
• Support classroom behavioral management to keep students on task.
• Supervise non-instructional areas and field trips.
• Assist with parent contact to foster involvement.
• Participate in IEP process and serve as resource as needed.
