Job summary

Poudre School District is seeking a Paraprofessional Integrated Services II at Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins. The role provides instructional and physical support to students with significant needs under the supervision of teachers and nursing staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with classroom adaptations, behavior support, personal care, data collection for IEPs, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• CPI certification or training may be required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist general or special education teachers with instruction and classroom accommodations.
• Provide personal care, hygiene support, and mobility assistance to students with significant needs.
• Monitor student behavior and safety, including managing transitions and crises when needed.
• Maintain records of student progress and input data for IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, nurses, and staff to implement behavior plans and crisis strategies.
• Support students in developing self-regulation and daily living skills.
• Participate in training on de‑escalation and safety procedures.
