Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years of college credit or pass a paraprofessional assessment.
• Assessment covers mathematics, reading and writing knowledge.
• Ability to assist instruction and support in student transitions and activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with instruction under the direction of a special education teacher.
• Assist in implementing an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
• May assist with transitioning students to and from buses and help with vehicles.
• Support students with physical or behavioral needs during transitions.
• Perform other duties as required.
