Job summary

Applitrack in Connecticut is seeking a paraeducator to support instructional activities under the supervision of a special education teacher. This full-time school-year position covers 33.75 hours per week and follows the Teamsters contract guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years of college credit required.
• Paraprofessional assessment per state guidelines is preferred.
• Ability to assist in instruction under teacher direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with instruction under the direction of a special education teacher.
• Assist in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• May assist with transitions to and from buses and help students in vehicles when needed.
• Support students with specific physical or behavioral needs during transitions in class or school.
• Other duties as required or assigned.
