Job summary

Two positions are available; candidates must have an Associates Degree or 60 college credits or pass the ParaPro Assessment. The contract includes 6.25 hours daily with pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 60 college credits or proof of ParaPro Assessment required.

• Three current letters of recommendation and transcripts if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, and distribute instructional materials and equipment.
• Maintain a safe, organized student work environment.
• Support learning and assist in curriculum-based activities.
• Reinforce lessons with students individually or in small groups.
• Assist with students' physical and emotional needs and mobility.
• Score tests and assist in adapt materials under supervision.
• Supervise students during field trips, lunch, and transit.
• Support classes including music, art, and PE.
• Provide information to substitute teachers on routines and student needs.
