Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet Minnesota Highly Qualified Paraprofessional requirements.
• Possess an associate degree or higher, or 60+ college credits, or passing paraprofessional assessment.
• Experience working with children, particularly students with disabilities.
• PCA certification preferred.
• Willingness to support students with personal care and medical needs, with training.

Responsibilities

• Support instructional activities for individual students or small groups.
• Implement plans and accommodations per IEPs and behavior plans.
• Assist across varied classroom settings and support engagement.
• Collect data on student progress and maintain confidentiality.
• Follow safety and behavior plans and crisis protocols.
• Provide ADL and medical support as needed, with PCA training.
• Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and families.
• Complete trainings and maintain attendance and reliability.
