Job summary

Rockford Public School District #205 is seeking a Special Education Building Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate should possess at least a High School Diploma and the necessary Paraprofessional License. Responsibilities include implementing educational programs and aiding with classroom management.

Qualifications

• Must have a Paraprofessional License issued by ISBE.
• Demonstrated ability to lift students when necessary.
• Effective communication with students and staff required.

Responsibilities

• Assist special education students under supervision.
• Implement teacher-planned activities for small groups.
• Support students with physical needs and behavioral management.
