Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom management and instruction, including providing attention, direction and assistance to students; communicate with the teacher about daily plans and observations; participate in small group activities and individualized tutoring.
• Supervise students in corridors, lunchroom, playground, and during field trips or school activities.
• Assist with clerical duties and preparation of classroom materials; help with data collection and recording as directed.
• Support with the physical needs of students, including transfer, toileting, and feeding assistance as outlined by staff.
• Participate in specialized programming such as signing, PECs, or other methods as required.
