Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older for secondary buildings.
• 2 years of college credits or a college degree or passing required testing.
• Must pass the ParaPro Praxis Assessment with a score of 457 or higher, or Idaho Paraprofessional Testing Alternative with 75% or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist special education teachers in Resource Room, ERR, PBIS, ECSE, or Tuition Kindergarten programs.
• Assist in implementing students' IEPs and materials preparation.
• Provide tutoring and academic support to students, individually or in groups.
• Assist with assessments, testing, and documentation.
• Support classroom management, behavior support, and supervision during activities and field trips.
