Job summary

Lakes Country Academy in Moorhead, MN is hiring paraprofessionals to support K-12 students in a structured educational setting. You will assist with instruction, behavioral support, and IEP implementation, collaborating with teachers and families to promote a positive learning environment. Starting December 1, 2026, typical hours are 8:15 a.m.

to 3:00 p.m. (6.75 hours/day), with a 180-day school schedule. Compensation ranges from $20.60 to $26.00 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent AND one of: 60 college credits, OR completed associate degree, OR passing score on ParaEducator/ParaPro exam (can be completed after hire within 30 days).
• Experience with students with challenging behaviors is preferred.
• Positive attitude, patience, and a passion for helping students succeed.

Make a real difference in the lives of students! Lakes Country Service Cooperative (LCSC) is expanding its Lakes Country Academy (LCA) program to better serve students and families, including the opening of a new site in Moorhead, Minnesota! We are seeking Paraprofessionals to join our team.

Our students are referred by local school districts and benefit from a calm, structured environment designed to meet both academic and behavioral needs. We are looking for team players committed to helping every learner succeed.

Your Role Will Include:
