Job summary

Lakes Country Service Cooperative is expanding Lakes Country Academy in Moorhead, MN to better serve students and families. We seek paraprofessionals to support K-12 learners in a calm, structured setting with individualized attention.

Start date in early December and ongoing collaboration with teachers and families are required. Responsibilities include supporting student growth, assisting with IEPs, and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 60+ college credits, or an associate degree, or passing score on ParaEducator/ParaPro exam.
• Experience with students with challenging behaviors is preferred.
• Positive attitude, patience, and passion for helping students succeed.

Responsibilities

• Support K-12 students in learning, social, and emotional development.
• Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Assist with classroom instruction and behavioral support.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff and families to foster an inclusive environment.
• Receive on-the-job training and ongoing support.
