Job summary

Lakes Country Service Cooperative is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for Lakes Country Academy in Moorhead, MN. This role supports K–12 students, assists with IEPs, and collaborates with teachers to foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 60+ college credits or completed associate degree
• Passing score on ParaEducator or ParaPro exam (can be completed after hire within 30 days)

Lakes Country Service Cooperative (LCSC) is expanding its Lakes Country Academy (LCA) program to better serve students and families, including the opening of a new site in Moorhead, Minnesota! We are seeking Paraprofessionals to join our team at Lakes Country Academy (LCA) in Moorhead. Are you patient, compassionate, and ready to make a real difference in the lives of students? Our students are referred by local school districts and benefit from a calm, structured environment designed to meet both academic and behavioral needs. We are looking for team players who enjoy working with young people and are committed to helping every learner succeed.

Position Details

• Typical hours: 8:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., 6.75 hours/day

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with students with challenging behaviors
• A positive attitude, patience, and a passion for helping students succeed

Pay Range: $20.60 - $26.00 per hour depending on qualifications
