Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a part-time paraeducator to assist certified teachers and specialists in monitoring and instructing students receiving special education services. The role includes supporting academics, daily living activities, and health-related tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities include delivering guided practice, preparing instructional materials, and collecting progress data while ensuring a safe learning environment across classrooms and playgrounds.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 college credits required or pass the ParaPro Test.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working with students is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction under teacher direction and reinforce objectives.
• Assist in developing instructional materials and class setup.
• Collect data on academic/behavior goals as instructed.
• Support students with daily living activities and transitions across campus.
• Maintain safe classroom environment and assist with clerical tasks.
