Job summary

Santa Clara Unified School District is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to assist in instructional support for a special education student under an IEP.

You will work closely with teachers to implement reading, writing, and math activities, monitor progress, and provide positive behavior support; CPR and First Aid certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education OR the ability to demonstrate knowledge of and assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics per IEP.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual services and support for a special education student per their IEP.
• Assist classroom teachers in instructional activities across subjects and maintain a supportive learning environment.
