Cherry Creek Schools seeks a Severe Needs Para Educator to assist students with severe special education needs under licensed staff supervision. You will support individuals and small groups, adapt curriculum, and help with behavior strategies, assignments, and progress records.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency diploma required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Title I assignments must meet one of the following: two years of college; an associate’s degree; or a state/local assessment demonstrating reading/language arts, writing and mathematics skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist students with classroom activities and adaptations to individual needs.
• Assist with curriculum delivery to individuals and small groups.
• Maintain records of student progress and behavior with licensed staff.
• Assist with paperwork and attend to routine tasks such as fire drills.
