Job summary

Minidoka County School District #331 in Idaho seeks a Special Education Paraeducator II to support teachers in implementing IEPs and assisting students with physical, emotional, and learning needs. The position is 7 hours per day on a ten-month schedule, with a modest benefits structure that includes one sick day per month and four personal days annually.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its recognized equivalent.
• Associates degree, or two years of study at an institution of higher education (32 credits), or ParaEducator State Test Certificate.
• Red Cross First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers by implementing IEPs and preparing, modifying, and adapting materials.
• Assist with skills and level testing and provide tutoring or supplemental instruction.
• Maintain records, files, logs, statistics, and documentation.
• Assist with classroom activities, management, and reporting duties.
• Assist in supervising students on field trips and during activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to district policies and safety practices.
