Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe special education needs under licensed staff. You will assist with curriculum, skill development, behavior strategies, and assignments in both in-person and remote-learning settings.

Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, monitoring progress, maintaining records, and providing technical physical care while ensuring a safe, hygienic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency diploma required.
• Experience with IEPs and special education supports is preferred.
• Ability to follow district guidelines and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs. Daily; 35% time.
• Implement accommodations and track student progress with licensed staff; report observations to IEP team. Daily; 30% time.
• Assist staff with materials, testing, attendance, and classroom events (e.g., drills). Daily; 5% time.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Daily; 5% time.
