Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus an associate's degree or 60 semester hours or AZ state competency
• CPR/First Aid (certification provided)
• Criminal background check required
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and software

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small-group instruction under supervision of the special education teacher.
• Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic first aid when needed.
• Translate for students, parents and staff as required.
• Support students' social and emotional development and implement behavioral plans.
• Assist with assessments and data collection under supervision.
• Maintain a quiet, orderly classroom and comply with district policies.
