Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Personal Care Assistant certification required within 30 days of start.
• 60 sem/90 quarter credits or an associate degree or higher, or have passed the ParaEducator/ParaPro exam.

Responsibilities

• Assists in instruction of students with disabilities in various settings.
• Manage behavior by redirecting, calming or removing disruptive students.
• Monitor and record student progress in academics, daily living skills, social skills, etc.
• Assist with physical needs including toileting, feeding, dressing and positioning.
