Job summary

Blazer Jobs is seeking compassionate and dependable Special Education Paraprofessionals to support students in Delaware's specialized educational settings. This role involves assisting students with autism and/or emotional/behavioral needs across multiple age groups in dedicated classroom environments.

As a W-2 contract position through Blazer Jobs, the paraprofessional will provide academic, behavioral, and daily living support in collaboration with teachers and school staff, with full-time

Qualifications

• Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit OR proof that a Delaware Paraeducator Permit is pending through the DEEDS portal
• Must be comfortable assisting with toileting
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide academic, behavioral, and daily living support to students with disabilities
• Assist students in specialized and self-contained classroom environments
• Support students with autism and/or emotional and behavioral needs
• Assist with toileting and other personal-care needs as required
• Work collaboratively with teachers, BCBAs, and other school staff
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
