Job summary

Blazer Jobs is seeking multiple School Occupational Therapists (OTs) to support students across school-based settings in the Brandywine, Delaware area. We currently have three openings available across elementary, middle, and high school settings.

The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with students, teachers, families, and other members of the educational team to help students develop the skills needed to successfully participate in their academic environment.

Qualifications

• Active Delaware Occupational Therapist license required.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students across a variety of ages and needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students based on individual needs and IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations and assessments and assist with determining appropriate services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
• Provide strategies and recommendations to support student participation and independence in the classroom
