Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide services to students under IEP/ISP guidelines. You will assess and support fine motor goals, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers to integrate OT into the classroom.

You may conduct evaluations as needed, communicate with parents, and maintain organized documentation. Supervisory duties include an OT Assistant, with appropriate state and NBCOT certifications required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in occupational therapy.
• NBCOT Certification and/or valid State Certification as specified in the contract.
• Ability to work independently; motivated and well-organized.
• Good communication skills with adults and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy intervention for students based on IEP/ISP goals.
• Monitor student progress.
• Test and evaluate students to determine need for OT (if requested).
• Consult with teachers to integrate OT plans into instruction.
• Communicate with parents regularly on student progress.
