Specialized Education Services, Inc. in Hoffman Estates, IL seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver OT services to students under their IEP/ISP and assist with assessments as required by state and district guidelines.

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in OTA, NBCOT certification, and the ability to work independently with strong communication to teachers and families. This is a full-time, on-site position with a pay range of $60,000 to $67,500 per year.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in occupational therapy assistant, as required by state and contract.
• NBCOT Certification and/or valid State Certification as specified in the contract.
• Ability to work independently. Motivated and well-organized.

Responsabilités

• Provide Occupational Therapy intervention for students based on IEP/ISP goals.
• Monitor student progress.
• Test and evaluate students to determine need for OT.
• Consult with teachers to align OT plans with educational needs.
• Communicate with parents about student progress and home activities.
• Develop solutions for individual students using research and professional judgment.
• Refer to community resources as needed.
• Complete required paperwork timely and accurately.
• Other duties may be assigned.
