Job summary

Qualifications

• Eligible or hold valid Delaware certification as Middle School Mathematics (or Secondary Mathematics) and Teacher of Exceptional Children K-12.
• Criminal background clearance and no entries on Child Protection Registry in Delaware.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs based on assessments, needs and progress toward goals.
• Design and deliver specially designed instruction aligned with CCSS and IEP goals.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners with focus on math and functioning levels.
• Monitor behavioral and social-emotional interventions and maintain classroom management.
• Regularly administer and interpret assessments; report progress to families and district.
• Develop weekly lesson plans using resources, technology and instructional strategies.
