The position emphasizes collaboration with families and staff, alignment to CCSS and IEP goals, and flexibility to teach both remotely and in person within a 10-month work

Qualifications

• Eligible for Delaware Elementary Education and Special Education certifications.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and collaboration with families.
• Experience implementing CCSS-aligned SDI and data-driven decision making.
• Proficiency with district technology tools (MS/Google apps, Schoology, Infinite Campus).
• Ability to work in a 10-month school year and support students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and implement IEPs with aligned instruction and progress monitoring.
• Design and deliver SDI aligned with CCSS and IEP goals.
• Provide standards-based instruction with direct/guided practice and interventions.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs and modalities.
• Collaborate with families, general education staff, and related services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting per policy and timelines.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions using data.
• Support remote and in-person teaching as needed.
