Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools is hiring a Special Education Long-Term Substitute Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The role includes program planning, instruction, and IEP case management for high school students with disabilities.

Qualifications

WORK HOURS

1.0 FTE from approximately January 15 through April 9, 2027.

JOB DUTIES

The position includes program planning and instruction, student evaluations, and IEP case management for 9-12 students with disabilities. Position could include small group instruction in areas of Social Skills,Language Arts, Reading, and/or Math courses.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Minnesota teaching license in a special education field or willing to obtain a Tier I /II license or Out of Field Placement.
• Endorsement as a Academic and Behavioral Strategistpreferred.
• Strong ability to work with people - students, staff, administration, parents; to communicate effectively, to plan, organize and assess.

Salary and Benefits

Salary based on the 2025-2027 Sauk Rapids-Rice Education Associations Master Agreement at BA, Step 1 for $35.83 per hour.
