Job summary

Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools seeks a Special Education Long-Term Substitute Teacher for grades 9–12 at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School. The position covers program planning, instruction, student evaluations, and IEP case management for students with disabilities.

The role runs from January 15 to April 9, 2027, at 1.0 FTE. Valid Minnesota SPED license or Tier I/II placement required; endorsement as Academic and Behavioral Strategist preferred. Benefits include health and retirement resources.

Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota teaching license in special education.
• Tier I/II license or Out of Field placement acceptable.
• Endorsement as Academic and Behavioral Strategist preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families and staff.
• Experience with IEPs and case management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction for grades 9–12.
• Conduct student evaluations and progress monitoring.
