Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited United States law school or admission to the New York State Bar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong legal research skills and ability to draft clear, concise documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform legal research assigned by Special Counsel and review cases and guidance documents.
• Assist in preparing legal arguments, memoranda, motions, pleadings, subpoenas, and briefs.
• Summarize audits and court reports.
• Draft response letters to SEQA complaints and CAPs.
• Attend court hearings when needed and review transcripts and exhibits.
• Draft memoranda summarizing case history, applicable laws and regulations; prepare internal reports.
