Job summary

Branch ISD Special Education is seeking an dedicated Instructional Teacher Consultant to support educators and students across programs. The role focuses on instructional coaching, consultation and professional support to teachers and teams, promoting evidence-based practices for diverse learners.

The candidate will work with teachers, administrators and staff to strengthen practices, analyze progress, and provide resources and learning.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in education or related field.
• Must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate.
• Special Education endorsement or eligibility as Teacher Consultant.
• Minimum three years of successful teaching experience, including in a special education program.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional coaching and consultation to teachers and educational teams.
• Promote evidence-based practices to meet diverse learner needs.
• Strengthen instructional practices and develop individualized strategies.
• Analyze student needs and progress and provide resources.
• Deliver professional learning and support to staff.
• Collaborate with administrators and support staff to improve outcomes.
