Branch ISD Special Education is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Instructional Teacher Consultantto support educators and students across our programs. This position provides instructional coaching, consultation, and professional support to teachers and educational teams while promoting effective, evidence-based practices that meet the diverse needs of learners.

The Instructional Teacher Consultant will work closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to strengthen instructional practices, develop individualized strategies, analyze student needs and progress, and provide resources and professional learning. The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator who values collaboration, relationship-building, continuous improvement, and a student-centered approach to instruction.

Education and/or certification:

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
• Special Education endorsement or eligible as a Teacher Consultant
• Possess a master’s degree in education or a field of study related to special education.

Experience:

Minimum three years successful teaching experience, not less than 2 years of which shall be teaching in a special education program.
