Job summary

Dallas ISD is seeking an Instructional Specialist (205 Days) to provide campus-based instructional modeling and compliance training for teachers implementing IEPs. You will mentor campus staff, analyze district data to inform instructional planning, and lead professional learning on intervention programs and best practices.

Required Bachelor’s, Texas Teacher Certificate with Special Education endorsement is expected; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Texas teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-going campus-based instructional modeling and compliance training for teachers implementing IEPs.
• Mentor campus teachers and collaborate with Region Managers and Coordinators.
• Collect and analyze district, campus, and student data to inform planning and program effectiveness.
• Lead professional learning opportunities for intervention programs and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district regulations.
• Schedule observations of student performance and provide formative feedback to staff.
