Job summary

Responsive Education Solutions is seeking an Educational Aide to assist special education teachers in providing instructional support for students with disabilities. You will help implement programs, work with individuals or small groups, and support classroom operations under the supervision of the Special Education teacher and principal.

The role emphasizes patience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic school setting.

Qualifications

• Educational Aide certification required or obtainable soon after employment.
• Must have 48 college credits or equivalent.
• Pass all sections of THEA or equivalent.
• Associate degree or higher from an accredited college.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and teacher certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher to prepare instructional materials and activities.
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom environment.
• Assist with inventory, care, and maintenance of materials and equipment.
• Assist teacher in keeping administrative records and required reports.
• Help implement ARD-identified accommodations/modifications for students.
• Conduct instructional activities for individual students or small groups as directed.
