Job summary

Responsive Education Solutions is seeking an Special Education Instructional Aide to assist with the educational and social development of students with a range of disabilities. You will work under the direction of the classroom teacher and campus administration to implement IEPs and monitor progress.

This role involves supporting students inside and outside the classroom, coordinating with therapists and other professionals, and helping with student records and ARD/REED processes as required.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or hold a GED.
• Experience working with students or parents.
• Three creditable years of experience as Educational Aide I or II OR 30 college credits with emphasis on child growth and development OR completion of an Education Service Center Instructional Aide cert.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the educational and social development of students under the guidance of the classroom teacher and campus administration.
• Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans and monitor student progress.
• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable full participation.
