Job summary

ResponsiveEd is seeking a Special Education Instructional Aide to support students with disabilities under the direction of teachers and campus administration. You will assist in implementing IEPs and Monitor progress, and help ensure compliance with ARD timelines.

Responsibilities include maintaining student records, supporting general education planning, collaborating with therapists and staff, and contributing to effective education planning for students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or GED holder.
• Experience working with students or parents preferred.
• Must meet one of: 3 years as Educational Aide I/II, 30 college credits with child development focus, or an instructional aide certification course.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the educational and social development of students under the teacher and campus administration.
• Assist in implementing IEPs and monitor student progress.
• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable full participation.
• Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and other therapists.
• Maintain student records and assist in ARD/REED timelines.
