Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent (GED) and have experience with students/parents.
• Must meet one of: 3 years as Educational Aide I/II, or 30 college credits with some child development emphasis, or completion of an Instructional Aide cert.
• Ability to implement IEPs and participate in ARD/REED processes with timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the educational and social development of students under guidance of teachers and campus admin.
• Support implementation of IEPs and monitor student progress.
• Provide in-class and cross-area support to enable full participation.
• Collaborate with speech, occupational, physical therapists and social workers.
• Maintain student records and assist with ARD/REED scheduling and documentation.
