Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking an Instructional Assistant Special Education II – Support at Mountain View High School in Mesa, AZ. This full‑time role (32.5 hours/week, 9.25 months) supports students with IEP goals under teacher guidance, including 1:1 and small group instruction and clerical tasks for classroom operations.

Responsibilities include assisting with instructional materials, data collection, modifying curriculum, and implementing behavior supports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in similar roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 and small group instruction aligned to IEP goals.
• Assist in developing instructional materials and classroom maintenance.
• Collect and monitor data on academic and behavioral goals using district tools.
• Modify curriculum to meet individual learning needs and support positive behavior plans.
• Support health-related tasks and personal care as needed under supervision.
