Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma required; RN or LPN credentials with qualifying education.

Willing to work with children with special needs and follow staff direction.
Must complete and maintain First Aid, CPR, CPI, Act 33/34/114 clearances and related trainings.

Responsibilities

Provide monitoring and care of students with health-related needs during school activities.
Identify seizures and follow medical care plans; administer medications as required.
Support self-help skills, including toileting, dressing, nutrition, and hygiene.
Assist in implementing behavior plans and chart progress toward goals.
Help prepare adapted learning materials and assistive devices as needed.
Serve as liaison between special education staff and classroom teachers.
