Job summary

Chester Academy is seeking a collaborative, organized Special Education Facilitator / Special Education Teacher to support the school's special education process and provide specialized instruction to students with educational disabilities.

This 187-day contract combines special education facilitation, compliance, and direct student services, working with the Director of Student Services and other staff to ensure compliance and effective services for students.

Qualifications

• Experience facilitating meetings and coordinating timelines.
• Ability to prepare and review IEPs and related paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate all special education meetings.
• Ensure processes and documentation meet federal and NH requirements.
• Coordinate meeting timelines and required documentation.
• Provide evaluation reports and draft IEPs to families ahead of meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and accurate records.
