Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of instructional concepts, principles and methodologies.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Demonstrates decision making, problem analysis and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess students and document testing findings to identify learning issues.
• Assist in developing and implementing IEPs and behavior plans.
• Coordinate with outside agencies and school staff to support student needs.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate with parents/colleagues.
• Provide counseling and serve as liaison between home and school.
