Job summary

Chesterfield County Public Schools seeks a dedicated Special Education teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. You will maximize learning for students with special needs by implementing district curricula, developing IEPs, and collaborating with PPT and families to support growth and behavior management.

Responsibilities include assessments, coordination with outside agencies, record-keeping, and providing counseling to students and parents.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of instructional concepts and curriculum; capable of designing and delivering instruction.
• Strong communication skills, written and oral.
• Ability to analyze problems, make decisions and plan effectively.
