BASIS Scottsdale is seeking an Exceptional Student Services Instructional Assistant to join a bright, collaborative team. The role supports Special Education, 504, and EL programs at the school site and helps maintain communication with parents, peers, and supervisors while providing paraprofessional support for individual students.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, valid IVP fingerprint clearance, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; prior paraprofessional experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or state background check.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan implementation with special educational needs in general education settings.
• Provide paraprofessional or one-on-one support to individual students.
• Help implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
• Collaborate with the ESS Coordinator and support teaching staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of student records.
