BASIS Ed in Mesa, AZ is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to join a bright, passionate team. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card and/or satisfactory applicable state background check, current special education certificate valid in relevant jurisdiction, CPR and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Work with students with disabilities in small group settings or 1:1.
• Interact directly with assigned students to fulfill IEP requirements.
• Provide specially designed instruction and support services as per IEP.
• Coordinate IEP meetings and parent communication.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to implement IEP requirements and ensure FAPE.
• Maintain documentation for IEP data and progress.
