Job summary

BASIS Ed is seeking an Exceptional Student Services Regional Coordinator to oversee SPED programs across Scottsdale campuses, ensuring compliance with IDEA, 504, and EL services and managing testing coordination.

You will provide training to general and special education staff, supervise itinerant providers, and collaborate with school leaders to deliver FAPE and accurate census reporting. This full-time role requires a bachelor’s in special education and 1+ year leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in special education or related subject matter.
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or satisfactory state background check.
• 1+ year experience in a special education leadership role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SPED processes and compliance with IDEA, Section 504 and EL for assigned region.
• Supervise IEP-related activities, testing, and data reporting.
• Provide guidance and professional development to general and special education staff.
• Coordinate transfers and initial/re-evaluation processes.
• Ensure ADE/state regulatory compliance and data reporting.
