• Certification as an Education Technician from the Maine Department of Education.
• Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) with fingerprints on file.
• Experience working with students with Developmental Delays.
• Appropriate for Ed Technician Certification Level (022).

Responsibilities

• Review and reinforce learning previously introduced by the classroom or special education teacher.
• Assist in drill and practice activities and required workshops.
• Perform non-instructional functions, including suspension of students.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and classroom management during drills and events.
