Job summary

Portland Public Schools seeks a dedicated Special Education Ed Tech III to support students in the Functional Life Skills Program at Moore Middle School. Under the supervision of the Director of Specialized Programs and the Building Principal, the Ed Tech assists the Special Education Teacher by delivering instruction, supervising students, and collecting data to track progress.

• Approval as an Educational Technician III by the Maine Department of Education; or Maine provisional/professional teacher certification.
• Preference for a degree with education-related coursework and 1 year of structured classroom experience.
