Education Service Center, Region 2 seeks a receptionist/clerical assistant in Corpus Christi, TX to handle inquiries and direct visitors. The role supports the central administration office with phones, notices, and calendar coordination.
Responsibilities include ARD calendar management, parent communication, record-keeping, confidentiality, and routine office tasks within a 199-day work-year.
Under moderate supervision, respond to inquiries from staff, students, parents, and the public; provide requested information and/or referral to the appropriate parties; direct visitors; and provide general clerical support for the efficient operation of the central administration office.

Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
3 year of clerical experience in an office setting
Reception and Phones

Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals; multi-line phone system
Continuous sitting
Repetitive hand motions including reaching. Frequent keyboarding and use of mouse.
Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)
Reception desk in the administrative/central office
Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress
