Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years of higher education plus able to pass required assessments.
• Completion of NC Department of Labor Teacher Assistant Apprenticeship program preferred.
• One year working with EC children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Assist children individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeteria, yards, and gym.
• Assist with lesson preparation and material organization.
• Participate in transportation duties for arrival/departure.
• Provide physical assistance to students as needed.
• Support therapists and teachers in related duties.
